Concealed Handgun Permits  The process is easier than you think.

The Clerk of Court and his staff are required to follow strict state guidelines when performing the necessary background checks for Concealed Handgun Permits. The court shall issue the permit within 45 days of receipt of the completed application unless it appears that the applicant is disqualified.

Completed applications for RESIDENT permits shall be submitted to the circuit court of the county or city in which the applicant resides.  

Pricing

• A New Concealed Handgun Permit costs $50.00 for RESIDENTS.
• A Renewal Concealed Handgun Permit costs $50.00 for RESIDENTS.
• Replacements & Duplicates cost $10.00; you must request those in person. 
• A nominal credit card transaction fee will be applied to all online applications. 

Applications will be processed between 8:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday, excluding holidays.
